Coaching
What is coaching?
As defined by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), coaching is a process of partnering you in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximise your personal and professional potential. With Connverge, coaching is about gaining awareness about yourself and your situations so that you can make more informed decisions towards where you want to be. Coaching can be done either on a one-to-one or team basis. Some of the coaching that we provide include:
General Life Coaching
In our lives, we sometimes face tricky situations that we feel do not have a clear solution for. The truth is, we feel like we do not have solutions because we do not know enough about the situation to make an informed decision about what we can do next. Life Coaching is aimed at helping us to get that awareness about the situation and ourselves so that we can then decide what we can/should do next.
Who this is for: People who feel stuck in their present circumstances, people who feel aimless and would like some clarity.
Educator Coaching
As educators, we serve as that beacon of light to the students we interact with. However, what if we have problems of our own that we need help solving? Educator Coaching is targeted at helping educators like yourself to gain awareness about yourself, your job, your personal circumstances and anything else that can help you make the best out of your role as an educator.
Who this is for: Educators who are looking to gain clarity and/or maximise their potential. Educators from all levels are welcomed.
Career Coaching
For many of us, we spend a large fraction of our week in our jobs with the hope of enjoying a fruitful career. You might see your job as a stepping stone to your next adventure, or you might see your job as a means to put meals on the table. Regardless of your aim, Career Coaching can help you gain clarity over your wants, needs and yourself so that you can make informed decisions about the steps to take in your career.
Who this is for: People who want a broad outlook towards their careers, people who are seeking clarity over their next steps.
Freelancer Coaching
If you are a freelancer, this is the coaching journey for you. Freelancer Coaching is aimed at helping freelancers like yourself be able to gain enough awareness about yourself, your area of expertise, your options and things you can do to make the best out of your career as a freelancer. Apart from coaching, you can also opt for Freelancer Consultations if you need advice on the business and operational side of your freelance career.
Who this is for: Freelancers looking to gain clarity and/or maximise their potential to the fullest.
Caregiver Coaching
For some of us, caregiving is a role that we have chosen to take for our loved ones. For others, caregiving might be a calling that you're answering through your profession. Regardless of which route you are on, caregiving can be a tough job that requires regular and unwavering effort. In the midst of showing care, we too need avenues to practise self-care. Caregiver Coaching is aimed at helping caregivers like yourself gain awareness about yourself, your job, your circumstances and any other area that concerns you in fulfiling your role as a caregiver.
Who this is for: Caregivers (within the home or as a profession) who are looking to gain clarity and/or maximise their potential.
Leadership Coaching
In different settings of our lives, we might be called upon to provide some leadership to steer things forward. However, the business of managing people and things together is never a straight line. We are also often not born with natural leadership skills. Amidst the busyness, we are also likely to have blind spots. Thus, Leadership Coaching helps us raise awareness about our circumstances, our personal styles and ourselves to make us more comfortable in being the best leader we can be.
Who this is for: People who serve in leadership roles within their organisation, people who serve in leadership roles in non-work professional commitments (e.g. communities and societies).
